Dr. Marquis L. Sanabrais

Marquis grew up in Chicago, IL and earned his bachelors of exercise science and doctorate of physical therapy degree from Carroll University. He’s worked in a variety of clinical settings and roles including personal trainer, olympic weightlifting coach, weight loss coach, director of clinical excellence, Onero osteoporosis coach, ACL and return-to-sport specialist, performance and sports physical therapist, and orthopedic physical therapist.

He believes in building strong interpersonal relationships with his patients and valuing their unique perspectives. Marquis’ passion for high-quality, evidence-based care led him to found the Baltimore Journal Club and Co-host the Journal of Orthopedic & Sports Physical Therapy (JOSPT) Insights podcast.

In his free time, you will likely find Marquis at the gym with a good book, hiking or running on a trail, or spending time with his friends and family.
